A major mixed-use regeneration project comprising of over 680 apartments, together with hotel and significant retail component. The scheme is comprised of 7 blocks of residential units, with one block providing a hotel on the complex. The majority of the blocks spring 9 floors from a podium deck at level 1, with one rising to 10 floors. The mezzanine level provides parking for the residents and the hotel. The initial scheme was designed as a post tensioned solution designed by Walsh Associates, typicallu utilising an 8.35m x 6m column grid. The slab depths varied depending upon loadings and included a 210mm slab, 225mm for internal podium and residential/hotel slabs, and a 300mm for the podium slab which is externally located. The average pour size of the scheme was 520m2 with typically 13 pours per floor for the residential areas, 12 pours for the mezzanine and 18 pours for level 1.
